Why is my activity score lower than expected?

Modified on Fri, 14 Jan 2022 at 11:26 AM

When calculating your activity score, only times during which your heart rate is elevated for longer than 30 seconds are considered. Activities that raise heart rate but don’t last very long (such as very short sprints) will therefore not contribute as much to your activity score as more sustained bouts of exercise would. The higher your heart rate, the more vigorous the activity will be classified as.
